The Cheese Wheel, a shop specialising in artisan-made cheese, craft beer and natural wine, is now open at Torr Vale Mill. Local delivery service available.
Offering a fantastic range of British cheese made by small-scale artisan dairy farmers, our range has been carefully selected to pack a punch when it comes to flavour and texture.
We stock an extensive range of more than 200 Belgian beers, including Lambic and Trappist varieties, German beers, local breweries including Torrside, Buxton, Thornbridge and RedWillow and ciders. When it comes to wine we are fans of natural and biodynamic wines which are full of flavour but low in sulphites.

Torr Vale Mill is a Grade II* listed former cotton mill located in New Mills, Derbyshire, England, on a small rocky outcrop at the bottom of the Torrs gorge in a beautiful bend of the River Goyt.
Connected to Torr Vale Mill is the Millennium Walkway, a 175-yard aerial walkway spanning a cliffside above the River Goyt and linking to Torrs Riverside Park, the starting point for several walking and cycling routes.
And located in Derbyshire, Torr Vale Mill easily lends itself to a fantastic walking base camp for the Peak District and beyond.
